Shipping

The seller ships the item, using the carrier whose packing requirements they follow. Packing is included in the item's price; shipping is paid separately and calculated at checkout.

Within Ukraine — Nova Poshta, Ukrposhta, Meest. Abroad — Nova Post International, Ukrposhta, Meest, DHL Express and FedEx. The list depends on the countries of dispatch and delivery: a carrier that does not serve a route is not offered on it.

Who pays for what. The buyer pays for delivery, for an insurance policy if one is needed, and for the item itself. The seller pays for packaging and for the export documents.

Export permit. An artwork leaves Ukraine only with an expert conclusion stating that it is not a cultural asset. If the seller does not have one yet, 5 business days are added to the delivery time to prepare it — this is shown on the item page and in the delivery estimate.

Insurance. Every carrier compensates loss or damage only up to its own limit, and for more expensive works that limit may not be enough. In that case checkout offers a separate insurance policy: the decision and the payment are the buyer's.

From the moment the carrier accepts the parcel, the carrier is responsible for the item — which is why inspection on delivery matters (see "Returns & Guarantees").

The tracking number appears in your order as soon as the item is dispatched.

Photographic record. Before dispatch the seller photographs the item and its packaging and uploads the images to their cabinet. Together with them the seller enters the tracking number and, where special delivery conditions apply, the accompanying documents: an export permit for the work, certificates of authenticity and the like. You can see these images and documents in your order; they are also the basis for a claim against the carrier if the item is damaged in transit.

Customs and taxes. Original works of art enter the EU duty-free and at a reduced VAT rate. Home decor, resale, jewellery and accessories are imported on general terms: any duty and taxes in the destination country are paid by the buyer.
