Tanya Shymko. Born in 1983 in Kyiv. For as long as I can remember, I have always drawn, as evidenced by a considerable stack of childhood sketchbooks. In grades 5-7 of secondary school I attended a "Petrykivka painting" club, which undoubtedly influenced the style of my works — a love for the so-called "blending" and a multitude of small details. This, in fact, was my "classical art" education; further (and now) it is education through books, museums, exhibitions, the Internet, and communication with creative people. In 2005 I graduated from the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design with honors, with notebooks painted with flowers and a clear understanding that I did not want to work in my profession as a financier. I started with black-and-white graphics in ink and pen. Now I try different materials, techniques and styles. Participated in: - "Talent energy fest" 2015 - group exhibition "Nimfa" 2016 - project "384 artists" Folk Ukraine 2016 - All-Ukrainian exhibition-competition of fine and decorative-applied art at NAMU. 21-25.07. 2016 -rn"Gogolfest" 2016 and others. Works are in collections in Ukraine, France, Spain, Austria, the USA, Australia, Russia.
