Margo Sarkisova

Margo Sarkisova - an Assyrian artist of Ukrainian origin. She lives and works in Kharkiv. A graduate with honors of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts in the workshop of I. Yakhin. A finalist of the Nathan Altman contemporary fine art competition 2017, 2018. A participant of the printed graphics festival prinfest_100 in Kyiv; she was selected for a group international exhibition at the International Print Center New York (USA) in January 2020. One of the many participants who supported the project "Falling Shadow" of "Dreams" for the Giardini gardens, the Ukrainian pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale; She took part in projects and exhibitions in Germany, USA, Bulgaria, Italy. Her works are in private collections in Denmark, USA, France, Canada, Italy, India, Germany, Czech Republic. In her works Margo explores the theme of national identity and how the cultural context in which a person finds themselves influences their thoughts and life.
