Anna Medelian is a Ukrainian artist and graphic designer who grew up in Kazakhstan. With a professional education in graphic design, she continues to work in her field, combining design thinking with her personal artistic exploration. In her painting practice, Anna works with acrylic, exploring the possibilities of color, form, rhythm and symbol. Her creative style lies at the intersection of abstraction, intuitive painting and symbolism. Natural motifs, geometric structures and images that arise from personal experience form the basis of her works. Anna's sources of inspiration are music, unusual inner experiences, and a special state of immersion and concentration in which the desire to create is born. In her works, she explores the relationship between inner state and visual form, conveying through color, composition and rhythm emotions and sensations that are not always easy to put into words. In 2005, Anna took part in the group exhibition "42°C" at a gallery in Karaganda. In May 2007, she won third place in the "Graphic Design" category at the First International Design Competition "Creative World" in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In 2024, her works were presented at an exhibition at the MODI Art&Wine Gallery in Kyiv. Today Anna continues to develop her own artistic language, exploring the possibilities of color and form and their ability to convey inner experiences, create mood and open up space for the viewer's personal perception.
