Yevhen Tkachenko
ProfessionalUkrainian painter (1923–2002), a master of the lyrical landscape. A veteran of the Second World War, he trained at the Hrekov Art School in Odesa (1945–1954) under Mykola Todorov and Leonid Muchnyk. His works of the 1950s and 1960s — seaside views, spring motifs, portraits — are held mostly in private collections.
