How to learn to get up at 5:00 AM. My story. My advice.

One day I decided to change my life. This day did not come all of sudden, as they used to say in stories. I’ve been walked for a long time for this day, passing different awareness and analyzing my life.


Looking over my goals and dreams, I realized that I had to start with my schedule. Getting up early in the morning was my first point.
I thought that great people get up at 5:00 AM, probably not by chance, right?
I’ve decided to become that girl, that person who has lived in my head all my life.


Totally by accident, I was advised Joe Dispenza's book “Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One”.

And now I boldly advise it to you!


You know, my life has really changed.
The book is more scientific and talks about our habits. Habits live in our body and in our brain. The habit of getting up late, the habit of eating on the move, the habit of sadness, the habit of smoking or the habit of being late. These are all habits, and they shape us.


Only good news in this book was that you could change your habits, this was a scientific fact.


I decided to do the experiment and get up for 21 days at 5:00 AM.
It was hard, but it was so cool! I won’t lie, that everything has worked out at once, but I'll tell you honestly that life has changed for better!


Probably, you have a question about why it is so early and what you do in the morning. I'll tell you.
I thought what I should fill this morning with, how it should look like and I made a plan, a plan of my actions.

 
It has perfectly fitted those things that I had never had enough time and energy during the day.
Morning exercises, reading books, meditation, tongue twisters, running and swimming. So it has become my morning. The morning, which makes me better.


Now there will be a moment of motivation! Ready? ;)

So, I will give you just an example what results you can achieve during 21 days of the early waking up:
1. I did morning exercises "5 Tibetans" 21 times
2. I have read 3,5 books in 21 mornings
3. I have run 65 km
4. I have swum for 300 minutes
5. I have performed meditation 15 times
6. I have spoken 400 tongue twisters
7. Doing 21 days of yoga, I have accumulated 6 hours of pure practice.


To be honest, I was surprised ate results that were waiting for me at the end of the 21st day. Having passed this way, I endured for myself a few moments that helped me not to get out of the way of early waking ups.


Today I’ll share them with you.


So, my advice:


The first thing I'll tell you is to realize.
 Realize your life and your results in all spheres of your being, think about your satisfaction with your achievements, your health, and your life.
When I made a decision to change my life, I had clearly understood that I had wanted to become the best version of myself. Books really helped that have become my motivator. One of them I have already advised you, the second one is "The Miracle Morning" by Hal Elrod, that describes simple morning rituals that change life for better.


The second advice will be easy, but effective. Put your alarm far away from the bed, if it's a phone, so leave it at that place that you have to get out of bed. AND! There is no more 5 minutes longer to stay in bed! It does not work this way!
Well, firstly, 5 minutes will not give you enough sleep, and secondly, you will surely fall asleep and ruin your goal.


The third advice is to go immediately to brush your teeth and take a shower, preferably a contrast one. I'll tell you honestly, I hated cold water before my experiment, but now the contrast shower is something I can no longer imagine my morning without.


The fourth advice and even fact, you’ll have to go to bed no later than 23:00. It's not easy, but possible. Believe me; your body will thank you!


And the fifth advice will be very individual.
You should understand that it's only your morning. You will have time to be alone with yourself and prepare for a beautiful day. You can slowly go to the shower, make breakfast, read, dream, do your hobby, anything! And what the most surprising is, when your whole family wakes up, you will be proud of yourself! After all, you will be one step closer to brand new yourself, better version of yourself!


The last thing I want to say in this article is that do not be surprised if events in your life start to shock you. New opportunities in a career, relationships will improve and, most importantly, that you will find yourself.
